Resolution 7079 RESOLUTION NO. 7079
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending and changing certain,of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in Ordinance
No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida" , as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
To amend Section 5 of said ordinance so as to change
Item 9 thereof, now reading as follows:
"9. .accessory uses for tenants only."
to read as follows:
"9. Accessory uses for tenants only, provided
that where dining rooms, restaurants,
coffee shops and other places where food
or beverages are served, are operated as
accessory uses hereunder, such rooms or
places shall be entered only from within
the building and no sign advertising such
accessory use or uses, not incidental to
the principal use of the building shall
be maintained or displayed so as to be
visible from the exterior of the building."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RT- SOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby called
to be held on the 11th day of Januarys A. D. 1950, at
10:00 o' clock A.M. , in the Council Chambers , in the City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to give at least fifteen days ' notice of the time, place
and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in the
Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circulationin said City of
Miami Beach, Florida, in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance
No. 289 of said City.
