Resolution 7088 RESOLUTION O. 7088
WHEREAS, Maurice S . Hazel, has offered , under date of
December 29, 1949, to sell to the CityofMiami Beach, Florida,
Seven the cash sum of Thirteen Thousand Hundred fifty & no/100
( 13, 750.00) Dollars, those certain parcels of land, owned by him,
situated in the City of Miami Beach, and described as follows:
Lot 19 of Block 4 of ORCHARD SUBDIVISION ,t4,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 25, at page 30 of the Public Rec-
ords of Dade County, Florida;
Lot 24 of Block 11 of ORCHARD SUBDIVISION 4,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 25, at page 30, of the Public Rec-
ords of Dade County, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, the said written offer to sell is accompanied by
properly executed warranty deeds conveying said lands to the City
of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has familiarized itself with said
written offer and deems it to bA to the best interest of the City
of Miami Beach to acquire said land for said price,
NO.t, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said offer to sell, and the
delivery of said warranty deeds in accordance therewih, be and
the same are hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHTTR RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to file for record the said warranty deeds and
to pay, out of funds of the City available for such purpose, the
purchase price, upon approval of the title by the City Attorney.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of January, A. D. 1950.
