RESOLUTION NO. 7118
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January, D. 1950, the
City Council, by Resolution No. 7087, withheld action upon
the tendered resignation of Kenneth Thompson as Personnel
Director and as Assistant City Manager at; the City of I;iami
Beach, Florida, and did grant to the said Kenneth Thompson
a leave of absence from such offices of the City, expressly
reserving the right to cancel such leave of absence and to
accept such resignation at any time, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that it is
necessary to the proper and efficient functioning of the
Civil Service and to the best interest of the City that the
office of Personnel Director be filled by appointment at this
time,
NO'.I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVt1U by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the leave of absence
as Personnel Director of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
heretofore granted to Kenneth Thompson, be and the same is
hereby cancelled and the resignation of Kenneth Thompson from
the office of Personnel Director of the City of Miami Beach
be and the same is hereby accepted.
