Resolution 7125 RESOLUTION NO. 7125
WHEREAS, there are thousands of persons in the City
of Miami Beach, who being employed during the working
hours of each day, find it impossible to appear at the
Dade County Court House in Miami to sign the County
Voters Registration Rolls; and
WHEREAS, it would be a convenience and a service to
residents of Miami Beach to have the registration books
open during at least two nights a week and on Saturday
mornings until the books close on April 1, 1950;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that Carl Holmer,
Supervisor of Registration of Dade County be requested to
keep the County Voters Registration books open two nights
each week and Saturday mornings for the convenience of
the public until April 1, 1950.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of March, A. D. 1950.
