Resolution 7302 RESOLUTION NO. 7302
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and
the inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for park and other municipal
purposes for the use of said City and its inhabitants, the fol-
lowing described lands, situate, lying and being in Miami Beach,
Dade County, Florida, and bounded as follows, to-wit:
Begin at the southeasterly corner of Lot
One (1) , Block One (1) of FISHER'S FIRST
SUBDIVISION of Alton Beach, as recorded in
Plat Book 2, page 77; of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida; thence run easterly
along the southerly line of said Lot 1, Block
1, extended easterly, to the high water line
of the Atlantic Ocean; thence meander southerly
along the high water line of the Atlantic Ocean
to the intersection of said high water line with
the Northerly line of Lot 10, Block 28 , extended
easterly, of the aforementioned Subdivision;
thence run westerly along said northerly line
of Lot 10, Block 28;, extended easterly, to
the northeasterly corner of the said Lot 10,
Block 2a; thence northerly a distance of
Seventy and Ninety-eight One-hundredths (70.98)
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
together with all riparian rights appurtenant
thereto.
NOT, TH REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is
necessary that the fee simple title to the above-described
property be acquired for use and maintenance for park and other
municipal purposes for the benefit of said City and its inhabi-
tants.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVH:E) that the City Attorney be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary
legal proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of
its right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said property
for street purposes.
