WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT WW-88 DISTRICT WW-88
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its in-
tention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
ww-88 Both sides of West Forty-fist (41st) Street from Pine
Tree Drive to Indian Creeky xa+i'both sides of Forty-
first (41st) Street from Indian ;reek Drive to Collins
Avenue, and both sides of Indian Creek Drive from Forty-
first (41st) Street to Forty-fourth (44th) Street.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system of orna-
mental posts and lamps at approximately one hundred
fifty (150) feet apart on each side with underground
connections for lighting.
As said Streets, Drive and Avenue are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Six (6) , Page One Hundred and One
(101) , Plat Book Ten (10) , Page Three (3) , Plat Book
Five (5) , Pages Seven (7) and Eight (8) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Forty-
first (41st) Street and Forty-fourth (44th) Street are
named and d igna d i Ordinance No. 232 and as said

The City Eng neereeis ner 'directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal ser-
vices, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in
conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-88 and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on West
Forty-first (41st) Street and lying between Pine Tree
Drive and Indian Creek, and
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Forty-
first (41st) Street and lying between Indian Creek
Drive and Collins Avenue, and
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Indian
Creek Drive and lying between Forty-first (41st) Street
and Forty-fourth (44th) Street.

In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property the
City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such portion
of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total cost as
the length of the street intersections bears to the total street
frontage within the district.

This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-88, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District WW-88.
