HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-331 District H-331
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-331 Alton Court from Seventeenth (17th) Street to Collins
Canal to be paved, and where heretofore paved to be
repaved to a width of twenty (20) feet with a bitumi-
nous wearing surface on an eight (8) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, man-
holes and catch basins.
As said Court, Street and Canal are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book Six (6) , Page Thirty (30) and
Page One Hundred Sixty-five (165) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said Alton Court is
named and designated in Ordinance No. 553.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of pre-
liminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
improvement is hereby designated as District H-331 and is described as
follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Alton
Court and lying Seventeenth (17th) Street and Collins
Canal.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-331, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-331.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of April, A. D. 1950.
