Resolution 7219 RESOLUTION NO. 7219
WHEREAS, that certain resolution passed and adopted
by the Rotary Club of Miami Beach on the 20th day of June,
A. D. 1950, was presented and duly read before this body
at their meeting held on the 28th day of June , A. D. 1950,
and
WHEREAS, said resolution deplored and condemned the
illegal operation of all forms of gambling, including
bookmaking, in this community and offered full support of
their organization in a broad law enforcement campaign,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the members of the
Rotary Club of Miami Beach are hereby congratulated for the
admirable stand they have taken, and we do, by this resolu-
tion, herewith express our thanks for this action on their
part.
PASSED and ADAPTED this 28th day of June, A. D. 1950.
