WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT WW-91 DISTRICT WW-91
WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution passed and adopted
on the 2nd day of August , 1950 , ordered the Whiteway
Improvement WW-91 , District WW-91 , and the City Engineer has
prepared and filed with the City Clerk plans and specifications
of such improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, includ-
ing an estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said
improvement, and whereas due notice by publication as required
by the City Charter has been made that the City Council would on
the 16th day of August , 1950 , at the City Hall in said
City at 10 :00 o ' clock A. M. , receive and hear objections of all
persons interested to the confirmation of said resolution ordering
said improvement, and no objections having been presented at the
time and place aforesaid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said City Council
ordering said Whiteway Improvement WW-91 , District WW-91 , be
and the same is hereby confirmed, and the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to levy a special assessment against the lands
comprising said District WW-91 for the payment of the costs and
expenses of said improvement, and for the purpose of advancing such
costs and expenses, $ 9,108.00 is hereby temporarily appropriated
from Current Fund Surplus , to be reimbursed from the unexpended
balance of proceeds from the sale of the "Whiteway Lighting System
Bonds" dated August 1st, 191+9 and sold September 28th, 1949, after
all cost and incidental expense of construction of Whiteway Improve-
ments designated I-tR''J-62 to WW-95, both inclusive, have been fully
paid out of said proceeds of sale; that the City Council does here-
by declare its intention to have the work necessary to the accom-
plishment of said improvement done by the City Forces without
contract; that the City Council declares its intention to collect
said special assessments and place the proceeds thereof in its
local Improvement Bond Fund .
