Resolution 7266 RESOLUTION NO. 7266.
WHEREAS, the Director of Personnel of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has prepared certain amendments to the
Personnel Rules of said City, specifically amending Rule XV
which deals with Leaves of Absence for National Emergency Pur-
poses, said amendments being necessitated by situations occurring
during and because of the actual or potential participation by
the United States of America in armed conflict either by or as
the result of a Declaration of ,lar or as an active combatant
by direction of the United Nations, and
':WHEREAS, the Personnel Board of said City has hereto-
fore approved said amendments, and
',WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the need for and the terms of the said amendments
to the Personnel Rules and deems the adoption of said amendments
to be to the best interest of the City and its employees and
officers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said amendments to
the said Personnel Rules be and they are hereby approved.
