After the usual pre-natal tribulations. they started what has since become known as the Miami Reach Rod & Reel Club. By . pril of that year, its membership roster reached the cnc•ottraging total of forty-six and, in the following e'. December, still grossing i ipidl . a chine house was acquired on -411W Miami Beach • end of the Venetian (:attx•ssas. , Despite the historic stock•uuarket crash of that year. and the handicaps of the _ ensiling Great Depression, the Club expanded far beyond the fondest hopes of its founders, not only in membership but in activities and reputation. Later. the limit was increased to the present number of five hunched. Since that time. the club. pretty much as you know it today. has been progressing comfortably and poi isefulh-, and its position in the general scheme of things piscatorial has become (-sett more firmly established. CLUB, INC., a non-profit corporation organised tinder the laws of the State of Florida. with I its principal place of business at Miami Beach. Florida. .\cern:u.r•. II AINIS ' • The aims of this Chilishall be sport angling. good fellowship. conservation of marine and weld life. and co-operation with other organizations dedicated to these :' s. (Section 8) Au applicant shall he admitted to membership by the affirmative • vote of not less than eight members present at any regular meeting of the Board of s Governors. (Section 9) Upon resection, an applicant shall be immediately repaid all ,funds posted with his application. (Section 10) The Board of Governors day suspend or expel a member for any 1 action deemed in violation of the regulations of the Club or prejudicial to its welfare. Said member shall be granted a hearing before the Board of Governors if such request is made in writing. I (Section 11) \Icorbership shall be divided into three angling classes, i. c.. I "Novice.
