RSSOLUTIOi•T NC. 7278
WHEREAS, by authority of Resolution iTo. 7113, heretofore
adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
condemnation proceedings were instituted for the taking of the
fee simple title to the following described land situate in
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
That certain parcel of land situate in the City
of Miami Beach, County of Dade and State of
Florida, described and bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point which is the intersection
of the easterly shore line of Indian Creek with
the southerly line, produced westerly, of Lot
Ten (10) of Block Ten (10) of the Ocean Front
Property of the Miami Beach Improvement Company,
according to the Amended Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 5, pages 7 and 8, of the Public
Records of Dade County Florida; thence easterly
along the said southerly line of said Lot Ten (10)
produced as aforesaid, a distance of Twenty-five
(25) feet, more or less, to a point on the wes-
terly line of Indian Creek Drive; thence northerly
along the westerly line of Indian Creek Drive a
distance of twenty (20) feet; thence westerly
along a line parallel to and twenty (20) feet
northerly of said southerly line of said Lot Ten
(10) produced as aforesaid, a distance of Twenty-
five (25) feet, more or less, to a point on the
easterly shore line of Indian Creek; thence sou-
therly meandering along the easterly shore line
of Indian Creek to the point of beginning, together
with all statutory and common law riparian rights;
and
WHEREAS on Friday September 8th, 1950, compensation in the
sum of $2, 500.00 and attorney' s fees in the sum of $250.00 were
awarded by verdict of the jury,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Manager, and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to pay into the Circuit
Court for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, in and for Dade
County, for the use of the defendants in said condemnation proceedings,
the sum of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty U2, 750.00) Dollars,
out of funds available for the purpose.
