Resolution 7290 RESOLUTION NO. 7290
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Kennel Club, by employing
persons with criminal records and persons of bad repute
throughout the Nation, has caused much unfavorable
criticism and editorial comment which is harmful to the
City of Miami Beach as well as to the Miami Beach Kennel
Club,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Miami Beach
Kennel Club be and it is hereby requested and urged to
take whatever steps are necessary to rid itself of such
employees as have criminal records or are known to be or
to have been affiliated in any way with gangs, gangsters
or organized crime.
