BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
FLORIDA: '
That the construction of the following described imnrovement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-1). 3 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides
of Seventy-seventh (77th) Street from i'atum Water-
way Drive to a point at or near the westerly line
of Tatum Waterway Subdivision on the North and
from a point at or near Sixty ( 60) feet easterly
of Tatum Waterway Drive to a point at or near the r
westerly line of Tatum Waterway Subdivision on
the south, and on both sides of South Biscayne Point
Road from Hawthorne Avenue to a point at or near
two hundred fifty (250) feet westerly thereof.
As said. Street , Drive, Road and Subdivision are
shorin on Plats recorded in Plat Book Forty-six (46)
Page Two (2 ) , and Plat Book Fourteen (14) , Page
Thirty-five (35) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Hawthorne Avenue is
named and designated in Ordinance No . 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, ,plans and specifications of said. improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal services ,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-143, and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Seventy-seventh Street between Tatum Waterway
Drive and a point at or near the westerly line
of Tatum Waterway Subdivision on the north and
between a point at or near sixty (60) feet
easterly of Tatum Waterway Drive and a point at
or near the westerly line of Tatum Waterway Sub-
division on the south, and those lots or parcels
of land abutting on South Biscayne Point road lying
between Hawthorne Avenue and a point at or near
two hundred fifty (250) feet westerly thereof.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-143, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-143.
