Resolution 7321 RESOLUTION NO. 7321
WHEREAS the Miami Beach Division of the Florida
Power & Light Company; its manager, Colonel Thomas H.
Beddall; his staff; and the restoration crews, performed
in an outstanding manner the necessary rehabiitation
due to the many and extensive damages caused our electric
system by the recent hurricane; and
WHEREAS, the rapid restoration of service was due
in no small measure to the competent planning for such
unforeseen calamities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of Miami Beach, in meeting convened on November 1, 1950,
that the appreciation and thanks of the citizenry of
Miami Beach be conveyed to the Miami Beach Division of
the Florida Power & Light Company; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this reso-
lution be sent to Colonel Thomas H. Beddall, in his capa-
city as Manager of the Miami Beach Division of the Florida
Power & Light Company.
