Resolution 7348 RESOLUTION NO. 7348
WHEREAS, DELIA L. CHILD has offered to sell to the City
of Miami Beach for the sum of ti�l,976.35 that certain parcel of
land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as
follows, to-wit:
The Southerly Thirty (30) Feet of the
Westerly Twenty-five (25) feet of the
Easterly Thirty (30) Feet of Lot Six (6)
of Block Two (2) of NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 21, at page 54, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, said
Southerly Thirty (30) Feet being measured
at right angles to the Southerly Line of
said Lot Six (6) and the said Westerly
Twenty-five (25) feet of the Easterly
Thirty (30) Feet of said Lot Six (6)
being measured parallel to the Southerly
line of said Lot Six (6) ,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, deems it to the
best interest of said City to acquire said lands for street widen-
ing purposes at said price, and
:1. IMEAS, an agreement has been prepared by the City Attorney
by the terms of which the said Delia L. Child agrees to sell and the
City agrees to purchase said land, the City Council being familiar
with the terms of said agreement,
NOW, TH1 EFOR E, BE IT- RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the said
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to close the transaction contemplated by said agreement,
according to the terms thereof, as and when the title shall have been
approved by the City Attorney; and the disbursing officers of the
City be and they are hereby authorized to pay out of the funds of the
City, available for such purpose, the amount, or amounts, necessary
to comply with the terrs of said agreement.
