Resolution 7388 RESOLUTION NO. 7388
WHEREAS, M. B. FRANK and RAE FRANK, his wife, and IDA
MILLER, a single woman, have offered to sell to the City of 1iami
Beach for the sum of 421,375.00 cash, that certain parcel of land
situate in Miami Beach, Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Lots Eight (8) and Nine (9) of Block Five (5)
of the TO;1NSITE OF HARDING, according to the
Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 34, at page
4, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami- Beach,
Florida, deems it to be to the best interest of said City to ac'iuire
said lands at said price for street purposes in said City, and
.IE'EREAS, an agreement has been prepared by the City Attorney
by the terms of which the said M. B. Frank and Rae Frank, his wife,
and Ida Miller a single woman, agree to sell and the City agrees
to purchase said land, the City Council being familiar with the terms
of said agreement,
NIO-.i? THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and. the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized to execute the said agreement in the name
of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to close the transaction contemplated by said agree-
ment according to the terms thereof, as and when the title shall have
been approved by the City Attorney; and the disbursing officers of the
City be and they are hereby authorized to pay out of the funds of the
City, available for such purpose, the amount necessary to comply with
the terms of said agreement.
