Resolution 7393 RESOLUTION NO. 7393 ' HEREAS, John P. Parsons and Clara A. Parsons, his wife, have offered to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the sum of $1, 500.00 that certain parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Florida, described as follows , to-wit: The Easterly Ten (10) feet of Lot Eight (8) of Block Sixteen (16) of NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 21, at page 54, of the Public Records of Dae County, Florida, the said Ten (10) Feet being measured at right angles to the westerly line of Indian - Creek Drive . AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, deems it to be to the best interest of said City to acquire said lands at said price for the purpose of widening Indian Creek Drive, a public highway in said City, and IJHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared by the City Attorney by the terms of which the said John P. Parsons and Clara A. Parsons, his wife, agree to sell and ,he City agrees to purchase said land, the City Council being familiar with the terms of said agreeEent, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute the said agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLV2D that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to close the transaction contemplated by said agreement according to the terms thereof, as and when the title shall have been approved by the City Attorney; and the disbursing officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized to pay out of the funds of the City, available for such purpose, the amount necessary to comply with the terms of said agreement.
