Resolution 7425 RESOLUTION NO. 7+25
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending and changing certain of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida" , as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit:
To amend Section 5 of said Ordinance so as to provide,
in addition to restrictions already set forth, that business
establishments or accessory uses in hotels shall not be
accessible to patrons thereof directly from a public street
or walk, or from such street or walk through a yard, patio,
terrace, court or other similar area directly adjoining the
entrance to such business establishment or accessory use,
nor by means of any entrance, foyer, vestibule or passageway
having entrance thereto other than from the main entrance and
lobby of the hotel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be
and is hereby called to be held on the 7th day of February,
A. D. , 1951, at 10:00 A. M. , in the Council Chambers in the
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said
amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by publishing notice
thereof, in the Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circu-
lation in said City of Miami Beach, Florida, in conformity
with Section 21 of Ordinance No. 29 of said City.
