SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIl`Y OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-l)1)1 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the
south side of West Fortieth (I4_Oth) Street
from Garden Avenue to e point at or near
sixty (60) feet easterly of Garden Avenue.
As said Street and Avenue are shown on
a Plat recorded in Plat Book Thirty-one 01 ) ,
Page Nine (9) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and, estimates , the printing and publication of notices end
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services , abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-14.4, and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
West Fortieth (40th) Street, and lying on the
south side of said Street between Garden Avenue
and a point at or near sixty (60) feet easterly
thereof.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-1/441 and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SK-1/14 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 21st DAY OF February A.D. 1951.
