Resolution 7490 RESOLUTION NO. 74+90
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of' s aid City and
the inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for street purposes , the
following described parcel of land situate, lying and being
in Miami beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit :
That portion of Lot Five ( 5) , Block
Fifteen (15) , NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH,
according to the Plat thereof re-
corded in Flat Book 21, Page 54, of
the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, said portion being more
fully described and bounded as fol-
lows :
Bounded on the west by the westerly
line of said Lot Five ( 5) ; bounded
on the east by a line parallel to
and fifteen ( 15) feet easterly from
the westerly line of said. Lot Five
(5) , said fifteen ( 15) feet being
measured at right angles to the
westerly line of said Lot Five ( 5) ;
bounded on the south by the southerly
line of said Lot Five ( 5) ; bounded on
the north by a line parallel to and
seven (7) feet southerly from the
northerly line of said Lot Five (5) ,
said seven (7) feet being measured at
right angles to the northerly line of
said Lot Five ( 5) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 7:T RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary
that the fee simple title to all of the above-described property
be acquired for development, use and maintenance for street pur-
poses for the benefit of said City and its Inhabitants , and that
the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said
City in the exercise of the right of eminent domain for the
condemnation of said property for street purposes.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of March, A. D. 1951.
