Resolution 7509 RESOLUTION NO. 7509
WHEREAS, the CityCouncil hasbeen advised that the
United States Wholesale Grocers ' Association desires to
lease the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach
Municipal Auditorium for the presentation of a convention
commencing at 12 :00 o' clock P.M. on Sunday, April 22nd,
1951, and terminating at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday,
April 24th, 1951, and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City
Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of, and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease agree-
ment and deems it to be to the best interest of the City
to authorize the execution of said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and. the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the above described lease agreement on behalf
of the City of Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager
is hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the
terms and provisions undertaken therein by the City.
