WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the
inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for the purpose of off the street
parking of automobiles for the use of said City and its inhabitants
the following described lands situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
Lot Ten (10) of Block Fifty-seven (57) of
FISHER' S FIRST SUBDIVISION of Alton Beach,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 2, at page 77, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and also that certain
parcel of land bounded as follows:
Bounded on the south by the northerly line of
said Lot Ten (10) of Block Fifty-seven ( 57) ;
bounded on the east by the easterly line of
Lot One (1) of Block Fifty-four (54) of said
Fisher' s First Subdivision produced southerly;
bounded on the north by the southerly line of
said Lot One (1) of Block Fifty-four (54) ,
bounded on the west by the westerly line of
said Lot One (1) of Block Fifty-four ( 54)
produced southerly to the northerly line of
said Block Fifty-seven (57) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 3.1- SOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that the fee sim-
ple title to the above-described property be acquired for use and
maintenance for the purpose of off the street parking of automobiles
for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal pro-
ceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of the right of
eminent domain for the condemnation of said property for said purpose.
