HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-342 H-342
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-342 Harding Avenue from Sixty-seventh (67th) Street
to Seventy-first (71st) Street to be paved, and
`,here heretofore paved to be repaved to a width
of thirty-nine (39) feet with a bituminous wear-
ing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base, and im-
proved on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter,
together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book 28 , Page 28, Plat Book 9,
Page 14 and Plat Book 21, Page 54 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Herding Avenue and Seventy-first (71st) Street
are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and en es-
timate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of.iprelimine.ry and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; andthe estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting pronerty.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-342, and is de-
scribed as follows:
All the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Harding Avenue and lying between Sixty-seventh
(67th) Street and Seventy-first (71st) Street.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-342, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shell be desig-
nated es District H-342.
