HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-343 Pine Tree Drive from Dade Boulevard to Twenty-sixth
(26th) Street to be paved,and where heretofore paved
to be repaved with two (2) thirty-one (31) foot
pavements, with a bituminous wearing surface on a
ten (10) inch rock base with a thirteen (13) foot
central park, and improved on both sides with a con-
crete curb and gutter and the central park to be im-
proved on both sides with a concrete curb, together
with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes and
catch basins.
As said Pine Tree Drive, Dade Boulevard and Twenty-
sixth (26th) Street are shown on Plats recorded in
Plat Book Twenty-six (26) , Page Thirteen (13) , Plat
Book Thirty-four (34) , Page Sixty-eight (68) , Plat
Book Twenty-one (21) , Page Thirty-one (31) and Plat
Book Thirty-ei;grht (38) , Page Sixty-one (61) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of
the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of
preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc . ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-343, and is described
as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Pine
Tree Drive and lying between Dade Boulevard and Twenty-
sixth (26th) Street.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-343, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-343.
