HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

3E IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-344 Ninth (9th) Street from Alton Road to Meridian Avenue,
to be paved and where heretofore paved, to be repaved
to e width of thirty-nine (39) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base , and im-
proved on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter,
together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins.
As said Street, Avenue and Road are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book Seven (7) , Pr-e Fifteen (15) and
Plat Book Two (2) , Pere Eighty-one (81) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Meridian
Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance No . 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement andan estimate of
the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of
preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publications of notices and proceedings , the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and
any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
improvement is hereby designated as DistrictH-3I4 , and is described as
follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Ninth
(9th) Street and lying between Alton Road and Meridian
Avenue.
This improvement shall be designated in ell proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-344, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-344.
