Resolution 7537 RESOLUTION NO. 7537 HIGHWAY IMPRVEMENT DISTRICT H-348 H-34-8 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI'T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAIMII BEACH,FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter: H-348 Dickens Avenue from a point at or near the northerly line of Normandy Beach South to Seventy-fifth (75th) Street, and Byron Avenue from a point at or near the northerly line of Haynsworth Beach Subdivision to the northerly City Limit, to be paved and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of forty-nine (49) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base, together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes and catch basins , and improved on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter. As said Avenues , Street and Subdivisions are shown on plats recorded in Plat Book Twenty-one (21) , Page Fifty-four (54) , Plat Book Thirty-four (34) , Page Four, Plat nook Forty-four (44) , Page Twenty-five (25) , Plat Dook Forty-one (41) , Page Two (2) , of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Byron Avenue is described in Deed recorded in Deed Book 2149, Page 175 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said northerly city limit is described in the Charter of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, as passed in April, 1917, and amended through April 1,1950, and as said Dickens Avenue and 75th Street are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232. The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property. • The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-348, and is described as follows: All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Dickens Avenue and lying between a point at or near the northerly line of Normandy Beach South and 75th Street, and all of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Byron Avenue and lying between a point at or near the northerly line of Haynsworth beach Subdivision and the northerly city limit. -1- HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-348 H-348 This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-348, and the property against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District H-348, PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY OF April, A.D. 1951 ACTING MAYOR ATTEST: ity u.ierk a I 4-) ^�A W ) ^0 ^ ` M M R, tr N t—t • O cd a � H 0 •rl C7 H T' H H O F4 O •r!..
