RESOLUTION NO. 7538
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-350 H-350
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-350 Seventy-seventh (?7th) Street from Collins Avenue to
Tatum Waterway to be paved and where heretofore paved
to be repaved to a width of thirty-nine (39) feet
with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch
rock base, together with necessary drainage, sewer
inlets, manholes and catch basins, and improved on
both sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street, Avenue and Waterway are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book Thirty-one (31) , Page
Forty (40) , Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (41) ,
and Plat Book Forty-six (46) , Page Two (2) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
77th Street is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 232 .
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement andan estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of pre-
liminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work,
the preparation of plans andspecifications and estimates, the printing
and publicat. on of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, .
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
improvement is hereby designated as District H-350 and is described as
follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on 77th
Street and lying between Collins Avenue and Tatum
Waterway.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-350, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-350.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of April, A.D. 1951.
