SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-504 The laying undergroundof a twelve ( 12 ) inch terra cotta
sanitary sewer with necessary manholes and appurtenances
at or near the southerly curb line of South Shore Drive
from a point at or near the centerline of Jones Street
to a point at or near the northeaste-ly curb line of
North Shore Drive, together with a six (6) inch terra
cotta sewer lateral from the main sewer to the line of
each sixty (60) feet of abutting property, as a part of
the main improvement.
The laying underground of a ten(lO) inch terra cotta
sanitary sewer with necessary manholes and appurtenances
at or near the northeasterly curb line of North Shore
Drive from a point at or near the southerly curb line
produced easterly of South Shore Drive to a point at or
near the port-erly curb line of Fairway Drive,
and also
At or near the southerly curb line of South Shore Drive
i from a point at or near the centerline of Jones Street
to a point at or near the centerline of Biarritz Drive,
together with a six (6) inch terra cotta sewer lateral
"`from the main sewer to each sixty (60) feet of abutting
property as a part of the main improvement.
The laying underground of an eight (8) inch terra cotta
sanitary sewer with necessary manhr.les and appurtenances
at or near the northeasterly curb line of North Shore
Drive from a point at or near the southerly line produced
easterly of South Shore Drive to Normandy Waterway,
and also
At or near a line parallel to and ten (10) feet north-
erly of the northerly line of Block Forty-nine (49) and
Block Fifty-six (56) , Normandy Golf Course Subdivision
from a point :t or near the centerline of Hagen Street to
a point at or near the westerly line produced northerly
of Lot Fourteen (l4) , said Block Forty-nine (49) and
from a point at or near the centerline of Ray Street to
a point at or near the easterly line produced northwest-
erly of Lot Seventeen (17) , said Block Fifty-six (56) ,
and also
At or near the northerly curb line of Fairway Drive from a
point at or near the northeasterly curb line of North
Shore Drive to a point at or near the southwesterly line
produced southeasterly of Lot Fifteen ( 15) , Block Sixty-
four ( 6L+) , Normandy Golf Course Subdivision, together with
a six (6) inch terra cotta sewer lateral from the main
sewer to each Sixty (60) feet of abutting property as a
part of the main improvement,
As said Streets, Drives, :Waterway, Lots, Blocks and
Subdivision are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book
4.)_+ at Page 62 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.

The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof; including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys; the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the prerara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SR-504, and is des-
cribed as follows:
Lots 1 through 10, Block 47; Lots ll+ through 27,
Block 49; Lots 1 through 27, Block 50; Lots 1 through
17, Block 52; Lots 1 through 23, Block 55; Lots 1
through 17, Block 56; Lots 1 through 9, Bock 57 ;
Lots 2L through 46, Block 59; Lots 19 through 36,
Block 60; Lots 22 through 41, Block 63; Lots 10
through 15, Block 64; all in Normandy Golf Course
Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 44 , at Page 62 of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, and Tract 8, lying southeasterly
of Block 57, said Normandy Golf Course Subdivision.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-504, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SR-504.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY OF April, A.D. 1951.
