RESOLUTION NO. 75 +3
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the
inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for the purpose of off the street
parking of automobiles for the use of said City and its inhabitants
the following described lands situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
Lot 10 of Block 57 of FISHER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION
of Alton Beach as the same is shown, marked and
designated on a Plat of said Subdivision recorded
in Plat Book 2, at Page 77, in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Dade County,
Florida also the closed east end of Sixteenth
Street, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 10, Block
57, Fisher' s First Subdivision of . 1ton Beach as
above described; run in an easterly direction
along the north line of Lot 10 a distance of 25 feet
to the point of beginning of the tract herein des-
cribed. From the point of beginning continue along
the north line of Lot 10 in an easterly direction
a distance of 206.28 feet to a point, said point
being the intersection of the north line of Lot 10,
with the west line of Collins Avenue; thence run
in a northeasterly direction along the west line
of Collins Avenue a distance of 70.98 feet to a
point, said point being the intersection of the
west line of Collins Avenue with the south line
of Lot 1, Block 54; thence run in a westerly direc-
tion along the south line of Lot 1, Block 54, a cis-
tance of 218.08 feet to a point; thence run in a
southerly direction and at right angles to the south
line of Lot 1, Block 54, a distance of 70 feet to the
point of beginning .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that the fee
simple title to the above-described property be acquired for use and
maintenance for the Purpose of off the street parking of automobiles
for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal
proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of the right of
eminent domain for the condemnation of said property for said purpose.
