RESOLUTION NO. 7559_
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SK-150 SK-150
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-150 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides of
Eighty-fourth (84) and Eighty-fifth (85) Streets
from Hawthorne Avenue to Crespi Boulevard and on
the North side of Eighty-fifth (85) Street from
Crespi Boulevard to Tatum Waterway.
As said Streets, Avenue, Boulevard and Waterway
are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book Forty-four
(44) , Page Sixty-seven (67) , Plat Book Forty-seven
(47) , Page One Hundred Three (103) , and Plat Book
Forty-six (46) , Page Thirty-nine (39) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-150, and
is described as follows:
All the lots or parcels of land abutting on Eighty-
fourth (84) and Eighty-fifth (85) Streets and lying
between Hawthorne Avenue and Crespi Boulevard, and
all of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the
North side of Eighty-fifth(85) Street and lying be-
tween Crespi Boulevard and Tatum Waterway.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-150, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SK-150.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY OF April, A.D. 1951.
