SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK- 145 DISTRICT SK-145
WHEREAS , the City Council, by Resolution passed and adopted
on the 18th day of April 1951, ordered Sidewalk Improvement
SK-1)+5 District SK-14) , and has caused to be prepared and
filed with the City Clerk plans and specifications of such Im-
provement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an
estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said Improve-
ment, and
WHEREAS , due notice by publication as required by the City
Charter has been made that the City Council would on the 2nd
day of May, 1951, at the City Hall in said City of Miami Beach, at
10: 00 o 'clock A. M. , receive and hear objections of all persons
interested to the confirmation of said Resolution ordering said
Improvement, and no objections having been presented at the time
and place aforesaid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the said Resolution of said
City Council ordering said Sidewalk Improvement SK-145 , Dis-
trict SK-1)+5 , be and the same is hereby confirmed; thathe
City Council does hereby declare its intention to have the work
necessary to the accomplishment of said Improvement done with
contract; that the City Council does hereby declare its intention
to issue bonds of the said City to the amount required for such
Improvement, to levy a special annual tax for the payment of the
principal and interest of said bonds , reducing the amount of
the special annual tax levy therefor by the amounts collected from
special assessments levied against properties abutting the highway
where said Improvement shall be made and by any other amount then
contained in the local Improvement Bond Fund, and to levy special
assessments against the properties abutting the said sidewalk
for the cost thereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council declares its
intention to advance the cost of said Improvement from the pro-
ceeds of the sale of its bonds , to collect said special assess-
ments and place the proceeds thereof, together with the amount
collected from such special tax, in its local Improvement Bond
Fund to pay the idicres; End principal of its bonds , paying said
principal and interest, so far as possible , from colections of
said special assessments and paying any balance from the proceeds
of such special tax; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $9,267.50 is
hereby appropriated for the cost of said Improvement from the
proceeds of the sale of said bond as and when the same shall be
accomplished and the sum of $92.6 is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund for preliminary expenses incidental to the
carrying out of this Resolution.
