RESOLUTION NO. 7607
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of iviiami
Beach, r'lorida, that it is deemed to be to the best interest of
said City to secure the passage, at the 1951 Session of the State
Legislature, of a bill entitled :
"AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 23413, LAWS OF
FLORIDA, ACTS OF 1945, EiNTITLRD: "AN ACT
AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TO CONSTRUCT AND
ERECT A HOSPITAL, A LIBRARY, AN AUDI-
TORIUM, AND OTHER PUBLIC BUILDINGS, UPON
THE &ROPERTY OWNED BY SAID CITY LOCATED
THEREIN EIN AND KNOWN AS "MIAMI BEACH MUNI-
CIPAL GOLF COURSE. "
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution and
of said Bill be furnished to theHonorable R. B. Gautier, Jr. ,
the Honorable Robert L. Floyd, the Honorable George Okell, and
the Honorable Dante B. Fascell, Members of the ±Florida Legis-
lature from Dade County, and that they each be respectfully re-
quested to see that said Bill be introduced and passed at said
Session.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of May, A. D. 1951.
