A RESOLUTION FURTHER MODIFYING AND
REDUCING CERTAIN OF SAID ASSESS-
MENTS CONFIRMED IN RESOLUTION NO.
7487, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON MARCH
21, 1951.

H-332 DISTRICT H-332
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
did on March 21, 1951, pass and adopt Resolution No. 7487, wherein
certain prima facie assessments for the cost of Highway Improvement
H-332, District H-332, as filed with the City Council on March 7, 1951,
were modified and confirmed; and
WHEREAS, it has subsequently been determined that a further modi-
fication and reduction in said assessments should have been made as to
a certain parcel as hereinafter described;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the said City Council that one
certain assessment heretofore modified and reduced by Resolution No.
7487, be and the same is hereby further modified and reduced, the amount
by which said assessment is hereby further reduced being hereby charged
to the City at large, so that said certain assessment shall be as
follows; it being hereby decided that the special benefit to said parcel
on account of the reasons given, is the benefit as stated below, after
such further reduction and modification, and that said assessment as
modified and reduced is in all things confirmed and sustained against
said parcel described therein:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLV'r;D that the sums and amounts assessed against
each of the lots or parcels of ground described in said preliminary assess-
ment roll, after modifications as set forth in Resolution No. 7487 and
after furher modification of one certain assessment as above set forth,
and the sums and amounts against each of the lots or parcels of ground
therein set forth, after said modifications have been made, are less than
the amounts each lot or parcel of ground is benefited by said improvement,
and that the total assessments as indicated on said assessment roll, after
the above described modifications have been made, in the sum of

Twenty One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Two Dollars and Four Cents
($21,682.04) , are hereby approved and confirmed,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten days after this revised confirmation
of said assessment roll the same be delivered to the City Clerk, as to
that certain assessment herein further modified and reduced, and the City
Clerk is hereby ordered, thirty days after the date of this resolution,
to make collection of that certain modified and reduced assessment as
required by law; provided, however, that the owner of any lot or parcel
of land which shall have been assessed in excess of $25.00 may before
the lapse of said thirty days, file with the City Clerk his written
undertaking, waiving all irregularities and illegality in connection with
said assessments against said lot or parcel and agree to pay the same in
equal instalments in each of the five succeeding years at the times in
said years at which the general City taxes are due and payable, with
interest upon said deferred instalments at the rate of six per cent per
annum from date of said confirmation, which said five year period is
hereby fixed and determined by the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that nothing Herein contained shall be
construed as changing the date of confirmation nor the collection instruc-
tions given to the City Clerk in Resolution No. 7487 as to all lots and
parcels in said assessment roll, but it is intended that this resolution
shall apply only to the parcel, the assessment against which is herein
adjusted, as it pertains to the amending or changing of the date of con-
firmation of the assessments in said assessment roll and as to collection
instructions given the City Clerk.
