Resolution 7636 ,SOLUTION NO. 7636
WHEREAS, Harold Turk has just completed his two-year
term as Mayor of the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, Harold Turk performed the duties of his office
with the highest degree of dignity which has brought increased
prestige to our municipality throughout the United States,
and
WHEREAS, Harold Turk has through his furtherance of
Latin American relations of our City been instrumental in
firmly cementing the bonds of Inter-American relations and
brotherhood, and
WHEREAS, Harold Turk in his role as emissary has stressed
the true value and ethics and desirability of our community
over radio and television stations to millions of people in
the world-at-large,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a grateful community and
its City Council express their sincere appreciation to
Harold Turk for his vital contribution to the progress,
development, and promotion of Miami Beach, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread
upon the minutes of the City Council and that a copy be sent
to Harold Turk as tangible testimonial of our gratitude for
his outstanding civic accomplishments, loyalty, and fineness
of feeling for his fellow man.
