Resolution 7656 RESOLUTION NO. 7656
WHEREAS, the radio stations, television station
and newspapers in the Greater Miami area cooperated
closely and diligently with the Office of Public
Relations in completing the dissemination of the
information to the electorate, and
WHEREAS, this constant, adequate, and competent
coverage resulted in a well-informed and alerted
citizenry, and
WHEREAS , 71.28% of the freeholders in Miami
Beach participated in the Bond Election,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of Miami Beach express their sincere appreciation
for the cooperation and support contributed by these
media which was most instrumental in assuring our
progress, development, and growth, thereby safeguarding
our future; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that a copy of this
resolution be included in the minutes of the City
Council dated June 8th, 1951, thereby giving written
testimony of our sincere thanks and deep gratitude.
