Resolution 7672 RESOLUTION NO. 7672
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That on and after June 25, 1951, all withdrawals of funds
from the City of Miami Beach accounts in City Depositories
described as follows:
In Miami Beach First National Bank
Accounts designated: "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Parking Revenue Bond Fund"
"City of Miami Beach Parking System Operation
and Maintenance Fund"
In North Shore Bank
Account designated: "City of Miami Beach"
In Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach
Accounts designated: "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Special Payroll Account
(Semi-Monthly)"
"City of Miami Beach Special Payroll Account
(Weekly)"
"City of Miami Beach - Meter Account"
"City Pension Fund for Firemen and Policemen
in the City of :Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Firemen' s Relief and
Pension Fund" ,
shall be upon official vouchers duly prepared and bearing the various
designations as given above, each bearing two signatures, as follows:

or in his absence or inability to act for any reason,
By D. J. CLEARY, as Deputy City Clerk
countersigned by
CLAUDE A. RENSHAW, As City Manager,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason,
By H. M. LINK, as Assistant City Manager,
or in the absence of both or their inability to act for any reason,
By MARGARET L. MAC KAY, as Secretary,
with the further Provision as to the two accounts carried in The :Mercantile
National Bank of Miami Beach, designated "Special Payroll Account (Semi-
monthly)" and "Special Payrol Account (Weekly)" , respectively, withdrawals
of funds from which shall be upon regular City of Miami Beach checks, one of
which shall be printed on green paper and be designated "Payroll check
(Semi-monthly)" , and one of which shall be printed on pink paper and be
designated "Payroll check (Weekly)" ; each bearing two signatures as above
set forth, or bearing the signature consisting of the background and other
identifying symbols and facsimile signatures, including the colors thereof,
as is imprinted on the sample checks attached hereto and made a part here-
of; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to use said signature in
connection with said accounts.

SECTION 2: That all withdrawals of funds from that certain City of
Miami Beach account in The Mercantile National Bank of
Miami Beach designated "Overpayment Account" shall be upon regular City
of Miami Beach checks, designated "Overpayment Account" and which checks
shall have plainly printed across the face thereof the words "NOT GOOD FOR
MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS" , each bearing two signatures, as follows:

SECTION 1: That the Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach be and they
are hereby authorized to continue to maintain that certain
account designated in Resolution No. 7092, passed and adopted January 18,
1950, as "City of Miami Beach Special Payroll Account" , and to continue to
honor and charge against same all outstanding City of Miami Beach "Payroll
checks" , drawn prior to June 25, 1951, and signed pursuant to provisions
of said Resolution No. 7092; said "City of Miami Beach Special Payroll
Account" to be closed in approximately 90 days in the discretion of the
City Clerk. A sample of the "Payroll Check" referred to in this Section
is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 4: That Resolution No. 7092 and all other resolutions or acts
of the City Council delegating authority for the signature of
City of Miami Beach vouchers or checks be and the same are hereby voided
and rescinded except as provided herein.
SECTION 5: That a certified copy hereof be delivered to each City
Depository.
