RESOLUTION NO. 7675
WHEREAS, Mr. J. J. Farrey has been Chief Building
Inspector of the City of Miami Beach for more than
twenty-seven years , during which time our City has
developed from veritable swamp lands to its present
magnificence, and
WHEREAS, the high standards of our buildings and
their maintenance are a direct result of Mr. Farrey's
most careful and constant vigilance and supervision
over the past years , and
WHEREAS, many of the excellent codes that have
been established by the Building Department, which have
been so instrumental in the safeguarding of life and
property were initiated by Mr. Farrey,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of Miami Beach warmly and sincerely congratulates
Mr. J. J. Farrey upon his many years of devoted service
to the City and wishes him all the satisfactions of a
life of great usefulness.
