Resolution 7696 SOLUTION NO. 7696
WH REAS, the City Council of the City of siami Beach, Florida,
has been advised that through the efforts of Claude D. Ritter, Jr. ,
Auditorium Manager, ARENA STARS, INC. has agreed to present "Spike
Jones and his City Slickers" in the Miami Beach Auditorium on
November 1, 1951, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared setting forth the
terms and conditions under whichsaid presentation will be con-
ducted, said agreement to be entered into by and between the City
of Miami Beach and Arena Stars, Inc. , and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of said agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of the City to secure said Presentation in the Miami Beach Municipal
Auditorium under the terms and conditions as set forth insaid agree-
ment ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, and that
the Auditorium Manager is hereby authorized and directed to put
and carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein
by the City.
