RESOLUTION NO. 7713
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that the University
of Miami desires to lease the premises and facilities of the Miami
Beach Municipal Auditorium for the presentation of the University
of Miami Concert Series for the Season 1951-1952, the specific events,
dates and times being more particularly set forth in the Lease Agree-
ment hereinafter referred to, and
WhEFEAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the Auditorium
'Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WhEREAS, the City Council has been advised of, and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of said lease agreement , anddeems it
to be to the best interest of the City to authorize the execution of
said lease agreement ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-described
lease amreement on behalf of the City of ;Miami Beach, and that the
Auditorium Manager is hereby authorized and directed to carry into
effect the terms andprovisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of Augugt , A. D. 1951.
