Resolution 7714 RESOLUTION NO. 771+
"JHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that the University
of Miami desires to lease the ~remises and facilities of the i"iami
Eeach Municipal Auditorium for the Presentation of the University
of Miami Pop Concert Series for the Summer Season 1951, the speci-
fic dates andtimes being more particularly set forth in the Lease
Agreement hereinafter referred to, and
WlikaiEAS, a lease a :reement has been prepared by the Auditorium
manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
W] lEAS, the City Council has been advised of, and is familiar
with the terms andprovisions of saidlease aF,reement , and deems it
to be to the best interest of the City to authorize the execution
of said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT rESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and. the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-described
lease agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Leach, andthat the
Auditorium manager is hereby authorized and directed to carry into
effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein by the City.
