Resolution 7716 RESOLUTION NO . 7716
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending and changing certain of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in Ordi-
nance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida" , as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
To amend said ordinance and the maps attached thereto
and made a part thereof so as to exclude from the "BAA" Business
District and to include in the "BA" Business District, as said
districts are respectively set forth and defined in said ordinance,
the following described land situate, lying and being in Miani
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit :
The North 150 feet of Block 53 of ORCHARD
SUBDIVISIONS No. 2 and 3.
NOW? THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach Florida that a public hearing be and is
hereby called to be held on the 5th day of September, A . D. 1951,
at 10:00 o'clock A.M. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen (15) days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof
in the FLORIDA SUN, a newspaper of general circulation in said City
of Miami Beach, in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance Ito. 289
of said City.
