SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution passed and adopted
on the 10th day of August, 1951, ordered the Sidewalk Improvement
SK-155, District SK-155, and the City Engineer has prepared and
filed with the City Clerk plans and specifications of such improve-
ment and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate
of the cost of the incidental expenses of said improvement, and
whereas due notice by publication as required by the City Charter
has been made that the City Council would on the 27th day of
August, 1951, at the City Hall in said City at 10:00 o 'clock A. M. ,
receive and hear objections of all persons interested to the
confirmation of said resolution ordering said improvement, and no
objections having been presented at the time and place aforesaid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said City
Council ordering said Sidewalk Improvement SK-155, District SK-155,
be and the same is hereby confirmed, and the City Council does
hereby declare its intention to levy a special assessment for the
payment of the costs and expenses of said improvement against the
lands comprising said District SK-155, and for the purpose of
advancing such costs and expenses, $4, 526. 50 is hereby appropriated
from the Current Fund, said Current Fund to be reimbursed from
such fund as may be set up for such purpose in the 1951-1952
budget and the fund so set up in the 1951-1952 budget to be
reimbursed to the extent of the proceeds of said special assessment,
and the City Council hereby declares its intention to proceed
with such improvement with contract.
