Resolution 7767 • RESOLUTION NO. 7767 WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT WW-105 DISTIC^1 WW-105 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter: WW-105 Both sides of Harding Avenue from Seventy-second (72nd) Street to the northerly City Limit. To be improved with a whiteway lighting system of orna- mental posts and lamps at approximately one hundred seventy (170) feet apart on each side with underground connections for lighting. As said Avenue is shown on Plats recorded in flat Book Thirty-four (34) Page Four (4) , Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (41) Plat Look Forty-one Page Two (2 ) and Plat Book Forty-four (IiZG) Page Twenty-five (25) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; and as said Harding Avenue is described in Deeds recorded in Deed Book 2)tlj5, Pages One hundred and ninety-eight (198) and Two hundred and one (201) of the Public records of Dade County, Florida; and as said Avenue is named and de- signated in Ordinance No. 232, and as said Seventy- second (72nd) Street is named and designated in tesolu- tion No. 6111; and as said northerly City Limit is de- scribed in the Charter of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, as passed in April, 1917, and amended through April 1, 1950. The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of pre- liminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein proveded for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property. The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-105 and is described as follows: All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Harding Avenue and lying between Seventy-second (72nd) Street and the northerly City Limit. In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property the City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such portion of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total cost as the length of the street intersections bears to the total street frontage within the district.
