Resolution 7778 •
RISOLUTION NO. 7778
WHEREAS, the various agencies of the State of Florida
are giving serious consideration to the creation of a four-lane
toll turnpike between Jacksonville and Miami, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, considers the proposed highway to be the only solution
of the Florida East Coast traffic problem and of vital importance
to' the future of the State,
HOW, TH-ER ,OR'E, BE IT R.L1SOLVLD by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida , that said City Council does hereby
go on record as favoring and urging the creation of such a turnpike.
PASSED and ADOPT D this 12th day of September, A. D.
