Resolution 7796 RESOLUTION NO. 7796
WHEREAS, HARVEY C . IJFEUHAUF and ANGELA ±HEUHAUF, his
wife, and RALPH GROOMS and MAUDE GROOMS, his wife, have
offered to sell to the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH for the sum of Fifty
Five Thousand ( 55,000.00) Dollars that certain parcel of land
situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as
follows, to wit:-
Lot Twenty (20) in Block Seven (7) ,
of SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to the Amended Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 28, at Page 28,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida,
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be to the best interests of the City to acquire said
land for public street purposes, at said price, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been preparedby the CityANGE Attor-
ney by the terms of which the said HARVEY C . FREUHAUF and
FHEUHAUF, his wife, and RALPH GROOMS and MAUDE GROOMS, his
wife, agree to sell and the City agrees to purchase said land, the
City Council being familiar with the terms of said agreement ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorizedto execute the said agreement in the
name of and on behalf of said City.
$E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to close the transaction contemplatedby said
agreement according to the terms thereof, as and when the title
shall have been approved by the City Attorney; and the disbursing
officers of the Uity be and hey are hereby authorized to pay out
of the funds of the City, available for such purpose, the amount
necessary to comply with the terms of said agreement .
BE IT Fi RTHr�c RESOLVED that Resolution No. 7742 heretofore
adopted, by the terms of which the condemnation of the above
described lands was authorized and directed, be and the same is
hereby rescinded and cancelled.
