SOLUTION NO. 7797
Jii U!AS, the City Council of the City of ;iiari Beach,
Florida, has been advised that through the efforts of CLAUDE
D. RITTER, JR. , Auditorium Manager, the personal appearance
of the "First Piano Quartet" for a concert in the Miami Beach
Municipal Auditorium during the month of November, 1951, has
, been negotiated with Fadiman Associates, Ltd. , of New York
City, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared setting forth
the terms and conditions under which the said concert will be
presented, said agreement to be entered into by and between
the said ity and the said Fadiman Associates, Ltd. , and dated
the 17th day of September, A. D. 1951, and
'IHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agreement,
and
:IHEHEAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best
interest of the City to secure ;,he said concert for presentation
in the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium under the terms and pro-
visions as set forth in said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directedto execute the
above-described agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach
and that the Auditorium Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to put and carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
