HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-354 DISTRICT H-354
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-354 Byron Avenue from Indian Creek Drive to Seventy-
first (71st) Street to be paved and where hereto-
' fore paved to be repaved to a width of Thirty-
nine (39) feet with a bituminous wearing surface
on a Ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins, and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Avenue, Drive and Street are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book Nine (9) , Page Four-
teen (14) , Plat Book Twenty-one (21) , Page Fifty-
four (54) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Indian Creek Drive is named
and designated in Ordinance No. 495 and as said
Byron Avenue and Seventy-first (71st) Street are
named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, plans a'-d specifications of said improvement and an estimate of
the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of
preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts , etc . ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The proiDerty against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated. as District H-354 and is described
as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Byron Avenue and lying between Indian Creek Drive
and Seventy-first (71st) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-354, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-354.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of October, A.D. 1951.
