SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-157 A sixteen (16) foot concrete sidewalk on the
westerly side of Collins Avenue from Espanola
Way to a point at or near two hundred eighty
(280) feet southerly of the southerly line of
Lincoln Road.
As said Collins Avenue , Espanola Way and
Lincoln Road are shown on Plats recorded in
Plat Book Seven (7) , Page One Hundred Forty-five
( 145) and Plat Book Two (2 ) , Page Seventy-seven
(77) , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Collins Avenue is named
and designated in Ordinance No. 2320
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services , abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to he made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-157, and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
the westerly side of Collins Avenue and lying
between Espanola Way and a point at or near
two hundred eighty (280) feet southerly of the
southerly line of Lincoln Road.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-157 , and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-157.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DA- OF November, A.D.1951.
