Resolution 7855 RESOLUTION NO. 7855
WHEREAS, BESSEMER PROPERTIES, I= C. has offered to sell
to the City of Miami Beach, Florida, those certain parcels of
land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, described as follows , to wit:-
Lots 28, 29, 30 and 31 of Block 111,
of OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 2 , at page 81, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida,
as is fully set forth by Resolution No. 7806, and.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, did duly accept said offer as .s set forth in said
Resolution No. 7806, and
WHEREAS, it was provided in said Resolution No. 7806,
as follows:-
"It being understood that BESSEMER PROPERTIES,
INC. will retain the right to at any time
prior to January 1, 1952 , remove the existing
pumps , pipes and oil and gasoline tanks and
foundations to which they are attached now on
the said lands . "
AND WHEREAS, the said BESSEMEH PROPERTIES, INC . has
requested the City Council of the City of Miami Beach to extend
the time within which it may remove the said existing pumps,
pipes and oil and gasoline tanks and foundations, and the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is willing so to do.
NOJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that Resolution No. 7806 be and
the same is hereby amended so that the same shall read as follows : -
"It being understood that BESSEMER PROPERTIES,
INC. will retain the right to at any time
within Ninety (90) days after the consummation
of the transaction contemplated hereby, remove
the existing pumps, pipes and oil and gasoline
tanks and foundations to which they are attached
now on the said lands . "
That all resolutions or parts thereof in conflict here-
with be and the same are hereby declared to be superseded hereby
and inoperative to the extent of such conflict.
It is further RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to furnish to BESSEMER PROPERTIES, IC. , a certi-
fied copy of this resolution.
